Your shifts
Everything you enter is stored on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, Caretide syncs it via Apple CloudKit to your private iCloud database so it is on all your devices. I have no access to it.
Scanning a roster
Photos are analysed only on your iPhone using Apple’s text recognition, never stored or transmitted. Camera and Photos are used only when you scan or pick a roster yourself.
Calendar
Only if you turn on “Roster in Calendar”, Caretide creates its own “Caretide” calendar and writes your shifts into it. It never reads or changes your other events.
Widgets, Siri and Apple Watch
An excerpt of your roster is kept in a protected area on your device and sent directly to your paired Apple Watch. Questions are answered on device.
Purchases
Caretide Pro and tips are handled by Apple. I receive no payment or personal data.
No analytics, no ads
Caretide contains no analytics, advertising or tracking tools and no third-party code.
Your rights
You can export your data any time (More, Export Data) and delete it by deleting the app and removing Caretide’s data in iCloud settings. Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection.
